    Why is my audio in Minecraft not working?


    I was playing Minecraft like any other day and for some reason I realized I don't hear anything happening in the game blocks breaking, footsteps, anything. It's been bothering me for a few months now and only now I am doing something about it because I thought it would fix itself. I have looked in the Minecraft audio settings made sure that its on and it was, and I tried closing and reopening the game. For some reason only a couple days ago my audio fixed itself and I have no clue what I did for it to work but the next day it stopped working again. I would love some help on this as soon as you can.

    So for now, I know Minecraft works with the WIFI of my iPhone, but I do not know why it does not work on my home WiFi.
    Same thing for me : Minecraft works with wifi on iPhone, not via home wifi. I can't find why!

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    We may need to uninstall and reinstall the Gaming services by following the steps below:

    "1. In the Windows search bar, type Windows PowerShell

    2. In the menu, select "Run as administrator"

    3. In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:

    get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

    4. In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

    5. Click Install** to install Gaming Services (select Yes if you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt)

    6. Restart your device."

    What console are you using?

    May I know if you're part of the insider program and you're using a preview or beta version of the Xbox OS?

    When this started to happen?

    What monitor do you have, and this monitor has built-in speakers?

    Did you tried connecting the console to a TV and see how it goes?

    And besides the procedures described in your post, did you tried something else?
