    so basically I've had my old original xbox one since 2014 there was no issue with the disc drive since 2014 but now my son put a just dance wii game into the xbox one disc drive I ejected it and then I put in a minecraft disc into it it didn't work so then I thought it must be the disc so I bought a new disc of call of duty of amazon and inserted it it still didn't work so this was my last resort

    I'm sorry you are experiencing issues with your console.

    If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a few questions:

    - To clarify, when you say the disc won't work, do you mean they are not being detected at all? or is it more like they are having trouble installing it on your console?

    - Could you go to Settings > General > Power options, and let me know what power mode your console is set to?

    - Besides the TV/monitor, are there any external devices plugged into your console?

    - Have you already tried power cycling your console?

    I seriously doubt that the grinding noise is because your x1 isn't level.

    By the way if your having the Grinding issue what i did was leave my Xbox ONE on for a whole day and then what i did was just put the disc inside but that was probably luck if i was you make sure your Console is leveled right.
