Could you check if your son's, or any of the profiles that you want to use, are logged in any of the other consoles?

For example, check if your son's profile is logged in the Xbox Series X (Living Room).
If the profile is logged in, close the session before trying again.

Note: Repeat this verification with every profile and every console.

Once you verified that only one profile is logged in on each console, try playing Halo Reach again.

Apart from that, it's always good to double-check if Home Xbox is enabled for your wife's profile on the Xbox Series S (Son's room) and that Home Xbox is enabled for your profile on the daughter's room.

Firstly, you can cancel your Xbox Live Gold subscription and request a refund. Once the refund has been processed, you can then purchase one month of Game Pass Ultimate, which combines Xbox Live Gold, Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, and EA Play.

Alternatively, you have the option to upgrade your three months of Xbox Live Gold to Game Pass Ultimate by purchasing one additional month of Game Pass Ultimate. This will convert your existing Xbox Live Gold subscription, giving you a total of four months of Game Pass Ultimate. Note that once the four months have expired, you will be charged for an additional month of Game Pass Ultimate, assuming auto-renewal is enabled

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have issue with access to Minecraft. Is it possible the subscription you had and it expired was Ultimate game pass? As this subscription includes gold, and game pass. As Minecraft is on the game pass
subscription. Then when you renewed Xbox live gold, you no longer have game pass so unable to access the game. You can check subscriptions and see if the ultimate is there and when it expired.
