    Minecraft launcher won't allow me to open Bedrock Edition


    Whenever I click on the Minecraft launcher bedrock version it tells me to open the new launcher because its incompatible. When I click open new launcher, it gives me an error message like this:

    Minecraft Launcher is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001

    I can play Java edition just fine, so i am wondering why this is. I also went to Microsoft store, and it told me to buy both games instead of one.

    No, for some reason Minecraft.net does not show the purchased Minecraft Bedrock Windows 10 Edition. I did not run minecraft through the launcher, I downloaded it from the Microsoft store and just opened it without using the launcher.

    I would assume you are trying to download on a windows pc.

    You will have to install the minecraft launcher first.

    To play Minecraft: Java Edition, download and install the correct launcher for your operating system. Sign into the Launcher using your Microsoft account, and you will be able to run Java Edition.

    To play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, you will need a device running Windows 10 or 11 to download and install the newest version of the Launcher, within which you can launch and play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Sign into the Launcher using your Microsoft account, and you will be able to run Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

    When I open the Minecraft launcher, go to bedrock edition, then click "install" it turns into a disabled button that says "play"
