Nothing works it will play certain games but not all

• Is your console enrolled in the Xbox Insider program?

• Would you mind giving this a try?

A) Could you try launching these games while on a different Xbox profile? Sometimes account-specific information, like saved data, can cause this kind of problem.

B) If that doesn't work and your console is designated as Home Xbox, please go to Settings > General > Network Settings > Go offline, and then try launching one of these games.

* You can verify if your console is designated as your Home Xbox by going to Settings > General > Personalization > My Home Xbox.

Hi AJ,

I don't get any error codes.

If I try to play ark ascended, sinu hellblade 2 and mortal Kombat 1. It will open the cover art like it's about to go in the game then go to black screen then back to the dashboard.

If I try to play assassin's creed mirage it will work up until the title screen it will freeze just as it says press a then goes back to the dashboard.

I own all the games digitally.

There is 2 external hard drives in the console but I've tried with and without them as the games are all on the internal. The games that are on the external harddrives actually work.

I first factory reset it and kept my games and apps but that didn't work so I did a full factory reset. Added my profile again redownloaded the games and it still didn't work.

If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a few questions:

- May I ask exactly what happens when you try one of your games? Do you get any error codes/messages?

- Do you own these games digitally or as discs?

- Are there any external storage units plugged into your console?

- The factory reset you tried, was it done by keeping games or by removing everything?

Sorry for the late reply was at work. I've now tried all your suggestions and unfortunately it still isn't working.

how about making it able to read all games from all regions.Because it makes ppl tear their hair out to get em to work to find out there is nothing u can do about it. Seems a little stupid to have to buy an xbox from japan or Europe to play certain games
