clip device id does not match that of inbound device id

Hello, Ali! Thank you for choosing XBOX support forums. I am an Xbox Ambasador and I am pleased to assist you today.

This is due to an issue with the MS Store / XBox app not “seeing” your PC.

Start by resetting the Windows store:

Close the Microsoft Store app if currently open.

Press the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog.

Type WSReset.exe into Run, and click/tap on OK.

A command prompt will now open without any message. After about 30 seconds, the command prompt will automatically close, and the Microsoft Store app will open.

After that try to log in again.

    If that does not work:

    Update Windows

Ultimately, you may have to reset Windows since this issue arose from a hardware change: Reset Windows Options.

I hope this answered your question! If it did, please give make this an answer!

clip license id does not match the device id

Hello, Alex. I'm Arturo, a community user like you, and I'll be glad to provide assistance with your inquiry today.

Based on the information you provided, I would like to suggest the following potential solutions. Please try launching the affected game(s) after performing each one.

Method 1. Right-click on the Windows button and select PowerShell (run as an administrator).
Then, run the following command: (You may want to copy and paste the entire command)

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_. InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}.

This command can take a while to end, but when the process ends, you should be able to type in the PowerShell window.
After that, please restart your computer.

Method 2. Run the gaming services repair tool.

https://support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/troubleshooting/gaming-services-repair-tool > Please expand the field that says
“Downloadable version” and run it once you have the file on your PC.

Once you run it, the tool can take a while to finish. So, make sure to not close the window during the process.

Method 3. Create a new user on your PC and test if you have the same outcome.

Method 4. Run the SFC tool on your PC. This tool may help you find and repair potential corruptions.
