How to get my apps to update and install on old console?

It's for Xbox One. Go to My Games & Apps then Apps and scroll to the far right until you see a grey pane. That should then populate with owned-but-not-installed apps. You should see an app called Xbox Preview Dashboard. Click A on that to download and install
it. Then run it and you should be able to enroll your console to the preview. An update should follow within a couple days.

I am adding this to my previous thanks and post.

My Microsoft Sudoku game "updated" automatically and I got the new one back.

I uninstalled it and went through the process again to get the old one back.

Before, when I got to the Malavida site the first time, I "RAN" the download.

It took a long time but that was OK and it installed the old version.

Then the update happened automatically and I do not know how to stop that.

This time I just downloaded the old version and it is still there in my "downloads" folder.

I "ran" it from the downloads folder and it reinstalled just fine … quickly.

But, I do not know how to stop the automatic updating for this app … any help would be appreciated.

And thanks again for helping me (and all of us) in getting our old Sudoku back!!!!

I'm getting error codes as well, but just on the pc, installed on console fine.

my game services app won't update as well, don't know if it's related.

It's possible that you simply need to update the app. Open the Store and check for updates; if there are any for Castle Siege, install that and try again to log into the app.
