    So, i have made a new account and added it to my Xbox. Every time I log into it, it requires a password, stating that I'm entering sensitive information. I keep on doing the password but it shows up everytime I try to log in. Someone please help

    This might be related to your account's Sign-in and security preferences. Would you mind giving this a try?

    - Sign in to the account you are experiencing issues with.
    - Go to Settings > Account > Sign-in, Security, and PIN > Change my sign-in and security preferences.

    Based on the information you've shared in this post, it's likely your current sign-in preferences are set to "Lock it down". From here you can:

    • Change this setting to "No barriers".

    Or

    • Create a PIN on the previous page and then select "Ask for my PIN" if you'd like an added layer of security. You can also select "Custom" to choose exactly when you'd like your console to ask for your PIN.

    I tried all these solutions when I first encountered this problem and nothing helped. Yesterday and today I also tried these solutions and again nothing helped. Whenever I test my network connection the xbox tells me "Everything is good

    Your console is connected to the Internet". Upon trying to test my connection to multiplayer I am told "unable to finish multiplayer tests

    Back up and try the test again. If it still does not work, there may be a problem with your network. (0x0000000000000000)".

    Thanks for reaching out to us! Sorry to hear you are having difficulties in adding your account to your console. In order for the profiles/accounts to be added to the console, you would need a steady connection to your network. You may wish to check your
    network connection to see if you receive any error messages since the second error code you received (0x80a40008) usually occurs due to a connectivity
    issue.

    Also, if you are connecting wirelessly (via wifi), you may experiences some connection issues if you have been connected to that network for some time. Wireless signals and devices can be thought of as performing a handshake of sorts when they connect and,
    over time, can loosen and either become spotty in delivering signal or cut out altogether. Should you be connected by wifi to your console, I recommend a physical power cycle of the console (do not plug back in until after the wifi is back up) while unplugging
    your router or network hardware for a minimum of 5 minutes simultaneously, then set your network up again on the console. This should refresh the connection and give you a stronger signal and connection, then you can attempt to sign back in.

    To perform a physical power cycle:

    1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button
      on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
      Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button
      on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

    If you have a wired connection, you may wish to check your Ethernet cable to ensure that it is performing well by switching it out with a different one to see if you get a different result. That being said, a hardwired Ethernet connection for your console
    is highly recommended since it greatly increases speeds and reduces lag, especially if you play multiplayer games online.

    I am very sorry to know you are having such conveniences. Please do not worry about the situation because I am here to help you out!

    According to the explanation you have provided, I believe your console might need either a network reset or just a system refresh. Therefore, you will only need to follow those simple troubleshooting steps that I will provide you with and your issue should be fixed.

    The following troubleshooting step will help you clear out your MAC address:

    Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

    Another step that you can try to resolve the issue, would be to remove and re-add your account. In order to do that please go to: settings> account> remove accounts> remove your account.

    If the issue still persists after going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 10-15 seconds plug all your cables back in and then restart your console.

    In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

    Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.
