    Was having trouble playing online and after restarting my consoleand that not fixing the problem i signed out of my xbox fully but now when i try sign in it just doesnt work, i press the sign in button it goes to a loading screen and then just goes back to the sign in page. Its not a wifi issue as the consol is connected and wifi works on every other device and i rebooted it also

    I'm AJ, an Independent Advisor for the Xbox Community.
    I'm sorry you are experiencing issues signing in.

    Not all devices use the same network ports, protocols, or features, so even if WiFi is working correctly on other devices, there's still a chance this could be a network problem.

    If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a few questions:

    - May I ask which Xbox model you are using?

    - Do you get any error codes/messages when this happens?

    - Are you able to skip the sign-in process? If so, could you go to Settings > General > Network settings, and let me know what you see under "Current Network Status"?

    Also, would you mind giving this a try?

    • Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
    • Unplug the console's power cord for 5 minutes. If you have the original Xbox One, you'll have to unplug the power supply unit from both the console and the outlet.
    • Turn your modem/router off and unplug them for 5 minutes.
    • Plug everything back together and check if the issues persist.

    Xbox one X issues after updating

    Arranged for return under warranty, just to recap, it wont update online, it will update offline, then after no other issues playing games etc, will restart if set to always on, it wont restart after a full shut down, the xbox one x intro movie doesn't
    play, goes straight to trouble shoot screen.

    I have the EXACT same problem.

    Played some COD: WW2 yesterday like any other day, went to check the Black Friday Sale, bought a game and after that....couldn't get to any online services within any games.

    My subscriptions say I have Xbox Live Gold to last me to 11/2018, but can't play any multiplayer at any game. Just wants me to get more Gold-time.

    All I can say is that removing my account and re-downloading it doesn't work (did this two times).

    Xbox support pages say that the next step would be to do a factory reset on my console, which would suck because I have almost 800 GB's worth of games on my HD and just to get that all re-downloaded would take like two whole days.

    Since the official Xbox support is closed (as it is on weekends...?) I guess I'm not playing any MP unless this magically works out by itself.

    Aaaaand now - after removing & re-downloading my account for two times, reseting the whole console once - I noticed that my Xbox One S went straight from being Open NAT to Strict. So after making sure EVERYTHING was as they needed to be on my network connections
    and such....

    It just started working! On its own 0_o

    It went from getting "Unavailable" NAT to Open.

    Hopefully this could get your hopes up, or atleast gives some perspective on this situation.

    I've heard that there can be some network connection issues with the Xbox One S sometimes, so maybe it's more to do with the hardware than with the account/subscribtions.

    my god literally so mad, and having 'deppesion' does not help this helps me escapethe real world and all its problems i love this consoleand comingfrom long weeks and playing it this is one of the few items that give me happiness.please reply
