    Minecraft Java multiplayer is disabled.

Hi Kai! My name is Darhyl and I’d be more than happy to help you with your query.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Minecraft multiplayer error.

I understand that you have already managed your Xbox privacy settings yet to no avail.

Kindly try to perform the following workarounds just in case this would work according to the official Xbox website: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help...ttings by selecting View details & customize.

    "Sign in to Xbox.com.

Select your Gamertag, and then select the More actions button (…).

Select Xbox settings, and then select Privacy & Online Safety.

Select the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety tab or the Privacy tab.

Review the current settings and update all of the options as "Block", and then select Submit to save the changes.

Note: You must select Submit at the bottom of the page before leaving or switching to another tab. If you don't submit the changes before you move to the other tab, your changes won't be saved."

Then sign back in and update all of the options as "Allow" and "Everyone", and then select Submit to save the changes.

Wait up to 24 hours to make sure the changes will be applied.

After signing out, sign in back into the Microsoft Store and Minecraft launcher, then check if you will be able to access the Minecraft multiplayer feature on your Java Edition.

Thank you for your kindness and understanding! Please feel free to let me know if you need anything else.

    Best Regards,
    Darhyl

Multiplayer is disabled in Minecraft Java edition

My name is Fernando I'm an independent consultant, I'm happy to help

The first thing you need to do is go to the "Microsoft Family" option, select More options, select Xbox settings to access the Xbox account page linked to Microsoft, go to Privacy and online settings, select a child login, go to Xbox1/Win10 online safety page guide to allow you or your child to access multiplayer mode.

I hope I helped and see you soon.

Minecraft won’t let me play multiplayer

Hello. When i hover over where it says multiplayer in the minecraft main menu it says “multiplayer is disabled, please check your Minecraft account settings.” Which I also have done. I bought the Java edition for windows.

I don’t remember what options I changed because I just say everything on allow and adult default.

Why is my Minecraft Java multiplayer disabled?

Hello Marija P, my name is zahir.

If you're getting a 'Failed to Connect to Server' issue, some possible solutions are:

Check that your network connection is enabled and that no programs are blocking outgoing connections.

Try disabling any existing firewall program or changing its configuration options.

    Restart your modem/router.

You may also want to try logging out of your account and then logging back in, as this refreshes your profile's authentication and connection with our servers.

    Restart your device.

If you're on a wired connection, try connecting with a wireless connection or vice versa.

Try connecting with another network connection if possible.

If you're using a VPN, try turning it off.

Check to see if the server is down using downdetector.com.

It is also possible that this can occur when the Mojang servers have difficulties processing requests. If you have tried the above solutions, please wait a bit and try your server login again later.

If issues continue, please get in touch with your network and/or server administrator.

If you're still receiving a connection error after trying the above solutions, then you may want to check that this is not caused by some third-party Minecraft software/mods that you have downloaded.

    You can also try this...

    CONNECT TO ANOTHER PLAYER’S SERVER:

Log into Minecraft and click Multiplayer on the main menu,

Click Add Server and enter the IP or web address of the server.
Tip: If you don't know the IP of a server, thousands of public servers can be located by doing a web search for something that suits your style of play.

    TROUBLESHOOTING MULTIPLAYER CONNECTION ISSUES

Close Minecraft: Java Edition and reopen it.

Restart your computer or device and see if this fixes the issue. Restarting can often clear errors in connections.

Log out of your Microsoft or Mojang account, close the game, and then log in again.

If you are using a wireless connection, ensure that you have a stable connection to your router. You may need to reset or restart your router.

Check your currently running programs for anything that is using your Internet bandwidth and close those programs.

If you have a firewall, antivirus software, or are using a VPN, check the settings to be sure that it is not blocking or slowing your connection.

Configure your router to use moderate or open Network Address Translation (NAT).

If you’re on a stationary device, try connecting using an Ethernet cable instead of using Wi-Fi.

Try reverting to a previous save of your world.

Switch the world slot and open a new world.

I hope this solves your problem.

    Thank you
