    My Microsft account was blocked after 4 months of recovering account


    I faced one problem, my account was hacked, back in January of this year, I tried to restore it in every possible way, contacted a bunch of times in support, but no one contacted me, then the one who hacked the account added double authentication to it, in connection with which for a couple of months my attempts to restore were stopped, and just on Thursday I contacted support, since the double authentication was removed, and today I get an email that, again, after 4 months, so and so, we can not restore the account because the security data has been changed, so the only solution is to block access to the account. It is a reasonable question that maybe there is a way to unlock the account and get it back?

    Well, this is ridiculous; I already recovered my account and Microsoft confirmed it. So looks like the problem is on the Microsft side, not mine. Could you please send this issue up the chain so I can get back into my account?

    Hi Jasmine1984xx, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    In regards to account recovery that will be the only way and I have here a tips that you want to consider before submitting the form again.

    Answer as many questions as you can:

    1. When thinking of past passwords, provide as many as you can for them to check, even if you aren’t sure they’re correct.

    2. Think back to when you created the account or last updated it. Have you moved since you created the account? Changed your name?

    3. If you can, submit the form from a computer you frequently use with this account.

    4. Your email address may be country-specific. For example, if you created your account in Sweden, your domain would be “hotmail.co.se” instead of “hotmail.com.”

    5. Select all the products that you use. The more info you provide, the more we can use to verify that you own the account.

    How to cancel a subscription on a hacked account

    A few months ago one of my accounts was hacked by a user and they hijacked my account to firstmailer.net account. I apparently don't have enough info to recover the account.

    However I am still being charged my monthly Game Pass subscription. I am unable to cancel this subscription because they refused to recover my account back to me.
    Canceling the subscription from the Xbox side would require you having access to the account to login and cancel it.

    If you are unable to recover the account then your only other option would be having your bank block any future charges.
