Still no option to appeal false reports?

This has to be a joke I remember owning a xbox 360 and then selling it for this same issue and i can’t believe that they still haven’t done anything about it.

My account got suspended over a profile picture that literally had nothing wrong with it but because a troll in my game convinced his friends to mass report me i get suspended and i cant even appeal? Even worse they make it clear to not even try to contact the support team. This is why i sold my 360, why i dint buy a xbox one and why I’m going to stop using and selling this xbox too. Multi billion company using bots to process reports is a joke. I just wish i could refund my subscription and games i bought

You will never be banned for mass reports.

There has always been this myth on these forums that if someone doesn't like you they can report you on mass and this would result in a ban. However, this is completely untrue. The fact is, it only takes ONE correct report for you to receive a suspension. False reporting is violation of the Xbox Live ToS.

If it was for a profile picture then it was probably a copywrite image. You can not just add any image you find on the internet and use it on your profile.

Xbox Safety investigate player reports and take each report into consideration when making an enforcement decision. However, a certain number or frequency of reports doesn't mean you'll receive an enforcement action.

All reports are investigated by humans, not bots. This means mass reporting won't get you suspended, unless you violated Xbox's rules.

Xbox Support don't have access to enforcement details, so you are advised not to contact them regarding these cases.

I've already sent an appeal for both false reports i have and they said they would get back to me but my new question is if I appeal will the strike be removed? Because long story short i was false reported and it counted tor 6 strikes 2 more of them and I am permanently banned, if my appeal is accepted are the 6 strikes lifted and also do strikes rest yearly or something? And if I reach maximum strikes do they reset? I hope i don't get to that point but because of the false report it might happen

False reports get.ignored

But.if you are breaking the rules then you do.get.punished
