Is there an Issue currently with connection to the PS5 version of Minecraft

Drowned is a network error code.

Please, change your connection DNS.

ON PS5:

Go to Settings > Select Network > Select Settings > Select Set Up Internet Connection > Find your Connection > Press Options Button > Select Advanced > Select DNS Settings > Select Manual

Input these:

Primary: 8.8.8.8

Secondary: 8.8.4.4

Then, delete the Minecraft local save data, this will enable you to link the account again.

Follow these steps:

On your PS5, Go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings. Select Saved Data (PS5)

Select Console Storage and select Minecraft > Delete.

Once deleted, launch the game again and do the linking process one more time.

If it still does not work, please, if you know how to do it, make a Wi-Fi hotspot router on your phone and connect to it.

Ps5 ain't any better I have only one ps5 game Spider-Man

There is no real titles except for what is currently out there

But if you are expecting a lot here is the thing

There isn't many games that arent cross gen even o. The ps5 Spiderman is a cross gen and most games are only upscaled

Except for the series x

And there are currently t gen games vahlalla etc you even get proper updates

Like squadrons which on the ps5 is the ps4 pro version with only 1440p vs 4k on serirs x

Ff7 has no updates till Julyeveb on the ps5

I am having the same problem on Minecraft Bedrock on PS5, is there a solution for this issue on other platforms?

There’s a few threads reporting this Minecraft update error, so this unfortunately seems to be affecting a lot of players and any troubleshooting probably won’t make any difference. Reinstalling the game should’ve correctly installed and applied the update as well, so you should contact support directly to properly address this if the issue persists.
