    Why can't I use Family safety app on an Android tablet???


    Hello

    This has been a pain.

    I would like to allow my son to play Minecraft Online however since I can't install Family Safety App to allow him on our Samsung Android Tablet I can't let him subscribe.

    Is there a way around it?

    I'm stuck.

    I have the same problem. I have given my daughter some money in her account and added my credit card details but still have no way to deal with "An adult has to complete this transaction from their profile" message. Nothing appears in Family Safety for me to approve. Surely I don't need to buy Minecraft myself to sort this out. She got a new Android tablet and I believe the only way to transfer the Worlds from her old Samsung tablet to her new Samsung tablet is using Realms. The Smart Switch app on the tablets doesn't bring the worlds across. You can imagine her frustration.

    Yes, but the family safety app only works *if they are using the edge browser*, and it doesn't prevent them from downloading apps that have other browsers that family safety doesn't filter. As far as blocking individual apps, I explain why that is a bad solution in the second paragraph of my original post.

    You can use the Xbox app to stream to your PC or Tablet. I've never tried an Android though.

    Does xbox360 need a true second screen solution?

    If I can use a gadget (android tab or iphone) I already have by downloading a free app I can't see a downside.

    If I have to ditch my phone and buy a windows phone/tablet then I can't see it catching on.

    I'm not sure it would be any use in FPS, but I can see it working well in other game types and especially for media apps.
