    Why in gta does my controller stops working?


    In gta online after a period of time playing my controller just stops working and it’s getting a annoying and I’ve had to restart whole missions just for this so anything can help.

    Where does he say that?

    He felt ripped off because the first Xbox One he bought came with GTA V. That was listed as being part of the deal, then after 2 months it stopped working, which is why he asked how the licensing works.

    Hello Jason, by your description it looks like you are trying to connect your control to a PC, make sure you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 22H2.

    See which version of Windows 10 you have

    Updates are often seen as optional.

    Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

    After the updates are made, download the Xbox Accessories App and try to sync the controller first via the USB cable.

    That's totally fine and thank you for checking but in this case, we may need to get the console replaced/repaired. You can request a replacement for your controller by signing in to this link and submitting the controller's serial number:
