    Hello! I have an issue regarding connection to games. I`m running on windows 11 23H2/ OS build 22631.3593/ Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1003.0. and somehow this is blocking my connection with games and games platforms(steam/league of legends and many others showing that I have no conection to internet). I had this issue before and by reinstalling my windows or using a VPN fixed it. Now after a period the issue is back. I`ve tried to reset all network/ firewall setting and this does not fix the issue. Internet connection is very strong. Everything else like youtube/google/any other apps works fine. Could you please help me with this? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Sheng,

    But the issue is solved when I`m reinstalling windows. This is making me think that some updates are blocking ip adress. Could be this a reason? Can I do something to reset internet/firewall settings to be as these are when the windows is fresh installed?

    Based on the description, it is likely that the games and launchers are checking your IP address and your IP address is being blocked. Using a VPN masks the IP address, but the games could be updated to not using the VPN connection.

    Based on the situation, I recommend contacting the developers of the games and platforms on their policy on IP addresses and VPNs.

    I have believe this is a software issue and not a connection issue.

    I have tried your advice regarding the DNS and there is no change in the issue.

    Can you play other online games?

    Sounds like the local profile is out of date or corrupted, and when an app or routine asks for data from it, it causes the involuntary disconnection. I'd start by clearing the system cache (it's just temporary files plus game updates, automatically reloaded)
    by:

    1) Please do Settings | System Settings | Storage

    2) Move over any hard drive or memory unit (not the Cloud) & press (Y) on your controller & pick Clear System Cache.

    3) When asked to confirm storage device maintenance, choose Yes.

    4) Repeat that twice more

    * Re-download *

    5) Tap the silver Xbox Guide button

    6) Select Download Profile (and if you don't see it, press the blue X button to make sure you're not signed in) and proceed with Profile Download.

    7) Enter the Microsoft Account addresse for your Xbox LIVE gamertag when asked.

    8) Enter the password for the Microsoft Account.

    8A) If your account is an Xbox LIVE child account, the parent’s Windows Live ID & password is required as well to download your profile.

    9) Pick the storage device for your profile (choose Hard Drive if you have one, or Memory Unit if you don't have a Hard Drive).

    10) When the download completes you will be asked if you want the console to remember your password. If it's your home console, I'd say yes, otherwise I'd think carefully about leaving my profile unprotected on somebody else's Xbox!

    11) Sign in, and retry.

    Hello! This is more a connection issue, i really recommend to uninstall the app and installed again.

    Also verify your network connection abd try again.

    I friend use vudu with his Xbox One X and dont have any trouble.
