    Xbox Series X All Digital makes a high pitched noise when downloading a game in standbymode


    Hi,

    my 3 week old Xbox Series X All Digital Edition makes a high pitched noise when downloading a game in standby mode.

    I know the fan works in standby mode and that is ok not the problem in this case. Its the high pitched noise that comes from the console only when downloading a game in standby mode. I can notice the sound and it is absolutely annoying. The Xbox Support couldnt help me if you ask me. The so called Xbox experts told me that this sound is normal. But I dont think so.

    After the download is finished the high pitched sound disappears.

    Here is a video I recorded. It shows my Series X and you can clearly hear the high pitched noise from the console.

    Mine occasionally makes noises, but I wouldn't consider them high pitched. Is it lasting for extended periods of time or is it just brief noises?

    I'm experiencing this same thing. At first it only occurred in game when a high pitched noise went off and then it would continue screeching long after the match was over. Now there's just a constant high pitched sound that my tv is sending off when I turn
    on the Xbox One. This only started happening after the update for me as well. I've done all those same things and it's still persisting.
