Minecraft multiplayer/server/realm chat settings

Discus and support Minecraft multiplayer/server/realm chat settings in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; yes it's a migrated account only started preventing me from using chat since today, didn't do that 1-2 years ago after the migration. only now....     yes it's a migrated account

    only started preventing me from using chat since today, didn't do that 1-2 years ago after the migration. only now.

    changing xbox profile privacy setting does nothing. EVERYTHING is set to "EVERYONE" or "ALLOW" on all 3 setting tab. and yet it persists on preventing any chat function in game.

    I have to connect using a microsoft account anyway, same account for settings and for minecraft.

    Setting page keeps saying it can not load settings when I try to submit the absolutely no change. then it doesn't load back for another full 20+ minutes.

    don't tell me the same thing as every other topic. I just said it doesn't work.

    Family settings have NOTHING possible to do, change or interact with. no elipsis, no settings, only "information on how to do this thing" but nowhere to do said thing regardless. doesn't matter how usefull (useless) the info is, I can't use it or it doesn't concern me anyway.

    36yo wanting to play with friends for the first time in years. kinda irritated right now.

    “Join Multiplayer Games” Settings
    If you have your settings set to block joining multiplayer games, you can’t join any multiplayer games in Minecraft, including shared local worlds, Realms or servers. To enable multiplayer in Minecraft, make sure this setting is set to ‘Allow.’

    However, just like ASCllnaut, that setting was already turned on for my children. In other words I'm in the same boat, we can play on the LAN but not on a realm.

    Please, let us review if all these options are enabled:

    Using the Xbox Family Settings app on your mobile device, enable Multiplayer for Minecraft.

    In the Xbox Family Settings app:

    Go to Settings > In Enable Minecraft > Select Allow this game.

    Turn on Multiplayer to let a member play online with others

    Enable Clubs so that a member can create and join Minecraft Realms servers.
