Can I set Xbox screen time restrictions in non 30 minute increments?

Hi, Ian! Thank you for reaching out.
I'm AJ, an Independent Advisor for the Xbox Community.

Unfortunately, both time range and time limit screen time restrictions can only be set in 30-minute increments. However, time extensions can be granted in 15-minute, 30-minute, 1-hour, and 2-hour increments through the Xbox Family Settings app.

    Best regards.

    Parental controls timer

No its set to 2 hours. In the parental controls time screen, 2 hours 52 minutes isn't an option. You don't enter a time, you select a time. So for example, the screen says '2 hours', '2 hours 15 minutes', '2 hours 30 minutes', etc. You increment to the
amount of time you want and save the screen.

Organiser to a child account ?

It's not possible to set screen time limits on an adult account or set an auto shut down timer (this could cause issues if the console shut down in the middle of a game or before the game could save). However I can suggest other methods of tracking screen time, like setting a timer on a different device.

You can also set a break reminder up on the console:

On the Xbox, go to Settings > Preferences > Break reminder. The options allow you to set a reminder for every 30 minutes up to every 2 hours in 30-minute intervals.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

    controlling the time online

Well you can only control how long they can play on the Xbox 360 itself, no matter what they are playing.

What you can do is that you can set the console to only play for a certain amount of time each day or even each week. You can set the daily timer in increments of 15 minutes and the weekly timer in increments of 1 hour, so you can determine exactly how long
your child can play. Notifications will pop up every now and then to let your child know how long they have left. And when you want to play, or you want to let your child play longer, you just tap in your password.

How do I remove 'skip sign in' option on Xbox Series X?

Family Settings: Xbox provides robust family settings that allow you to manage and customize access for different family members. This includes controlling screen time limits, content restrictions, and privacy settings. To set up and manage Family Settings:

    a. Sign in to your Xbox Series X with the parent or guardian account.

    b. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

    c. Navigate to the extreme right of the guide and select the "Profile & system" tab.

    d. Choose "Settings" and then select "Account."

    e. Under Account settings, select "Family settings."

    f. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up and manage family settings for individual accounts.

Screen Time Limits: You can set daily or weekly screen time limits for each account to manage and control the amount of time spent on the Xbox Series X. This helps in regulating usage and ensuring a healthy balance. You can customize these limits based on specific days of the week as well.

Content Restrictions: Xbox allows you to apply age-appropriate content restrictions based on the rating of games, movies, and apps. This ensures that users can only access content that aligns with their age group. You can set restrictions for individual accounts or apply them globally for all accounts in the family.

Privacy and Online Safety: You can manage privacy settings and online safety features to control communication, multiplayer interactions, and sharing of personal information. Xbox provides various options to customize privacy levels and ensure a safe online experience.
