No, Karina, I'm sorry, but it's not possible. The only thing you can do is leave your account to your eldest child and create a new one for yourself. This way, he would keep his gamertag and all purchases made so far, while you would start with a new account and a new gamertag.

I hope I have understood your question.
I want to inform you, although you probably already know, that I do not have access to your data and your account.

The gamertag is just the name that identifies us on the network, but it is closely linked to the account, just like all the purchases you make are linked to your account. So, you cannot extract the gamertag and your purchases from the account where you have chosen your name and made purchases. If your son wants to keep both things, he can do so only by accessing your Microsoft account, but it's not possible to transfer the gamertag and purchases to another account.

Hi, Thank you so much for your reply, can he change the email address linked to his gamertag? So he can then take it on himself And if so what would that mean for my other son on the account?

Thank you . I appreciate your response. My son fell out with his father and moved in with me. His father is being unpleasant and difficult and would not do this. My son is getting locked out of his accounts and we can not restore / change his passwords. He so far lost access to his email and Xbox . Is there no way around this at all ?

Basically my 10 year old son wanted to change his ID and we agreed. He then went to change his name and it obviously came out with a different name (assume the name he choose was taken). He called my wife in who paid for it as it asked for card details.
My son and I realised the name change was not what he wanted, it could well be my son pressed the button by mistake (which happens). I then immediately contact your support (in normal circumstances EBAY/AMAZON etc if you make a purchase you can cancel within
a short time). I got no where with the customer service team and they said submit a refund form which we did. My son was in tears so we went back onto change name - and changed it to a name he wanted (he choose). I have therefore paid 2 lots of £7.99 for
changing his name.

I don't agree at all that a cost is involved in changing a name. The fact you can clearly see from the records that we paid 2 lots of £7.99 in such a period of time is not normal.

This is not complicated its straight forward.
