How do I turn of child restrictions on my sons account

I have my son on the family group thing and it says his age is 16, everything is set to everything on the consent settings but it's still not letting him play gta.

I'm guessing it's because his age says 16? How do I change this so he can play please.

Kept going through the options to find how to edit his profile info etc and just kept going in circles.

Hi,

its to play online, ive been through his privacy settings and they look the same as mine and his brothers.

I have xbox live gold and he's on his gamer tag on that, the same as his brother who can play online with out an issue.

The only difference between his brothers gamer tag and his, is that in the settings it tells me it's an child's account 🤷‍♂️

If it's online and all his privacy settings are enabled, could I know if his account has an active Game Pass Core (previously Live Gold) or Ultimate subscription? (Includes Core)

This question is asked because paid games, like FC24, GTA V, etc. require having an active Xbox Live Gold (now named Game Pass Core) or Game Pass Ultimate subscription to access online features.

Does each son have their own console, or they play on the same one?

If so, could your son (the one that can use online features) check if Home Xbox is enabled for your profile?

This can be done by opening Settings > General > Personalization > Home Xbox.

If “Home Xbox” is checked, this is the reason he is able to enjoy the benefit. However, if Home Xbox is not checked in your profile, please add it to the console of the affected son and enable the feature. Then, try accessing online features with his profile one more time.

There's no such thing as like a sub account. Your options would either be to let your son play on your account or create an account for your son as a child account (which will restrict how the account can be used)
