    I just got banned today after warzone reported an error of not being able to connect to the server. After redownloading the game and logging back in, I got a notification that my account was permanently locked because of using a 3rd party software. I sent support and got a response. The email said it was banned due to using 3rd party software but it didn't say exactly how. Meanwhile, a day before that, I was still playing the game a little at noon and night without anything unusual. The same computer was playing the same game from 3 years ago and suddenly got banned for using a 3rd party software while the computer had nothing but 2 games and a bunch of Adobe software. The support department doesn't care at all so I can only come here to ask for help. On reddit, there are many people like me who got banned for no reason at all.

    Only Activision can help with this, Microsoft will not and cannot intervene as Activision run their own servers. Even though Microsoft own them, Activision are autonomous. You will need to contact Activision for appeals.

    No, do NOT call that number. They will not tell you anything about why your account has been banned. If you want to find out why an account has been banned, visit the account bans forum.

    No one is banned without reason. If the enforcement team investigates your account and finds nothing they will not ban you. If you received a ban, you can view it on enforcement.xbox.com and file a case review if eligible for one.
