I lost my xbox account.is there a way to get it back without email or phone number?

When did you last successfully sign in to your Microsoft account?

If you have not logged into your account for more than two years and it has been closed due to inactivity, you will not be able to use the Account Recovery Form to recover your account.

Did you have two-factor authentication (2FA) active on the account? If you do have the 2FA active, are you able to access the second factor of authentication?

Microsoft takes account security very seriously, that's why Account Recovery is an automated process with no human influence. If you don't have the correct information, you may not be able to get through account verification using the Recovery Form.

The Account Recovery Form requires adequate information to prove that you are the owner of the account. The Account Recovery Process can be a time-consuming process, but providing as much info as possible from the start of the process will increase the possibility of being verified by the automated process. You'll need to keep trying until you're verified by Microsoft.

Remember to use a familiar device from which you've frequently accessed your Microsoft account, as well as a familiar location. Microsoft will review your responses and respond within 24 hours. If you are verified, instructions on how to log back into your account will be sent to you, and if you are not verified, you will need to submit the Account Recovery form again. You can do this up to 2 times every 24 hours.

It's important to note that Microsoft Support will not be able to grant you access to your account, you will be sent back to the Account Recovery pages that have been linked above.

I've tried to reset my password, but I did have 2FA active with only my old phone number. I've also submit two different forms and both times i've got an email back saying they can't verify my ownership of the account when I've given all accurate information. Is there any other way to verify my identity without using my old phone number? I have absolutely no way of using that number anymore since the phone was broken. and I also can't transfer my favorite games to a new xbox account without either waiting a year, or losing all of my progress. What do I do?

Tried signing up for Music Pass. Not getting a verification code in my google email. My phone number changed so I can't get a text. Can't change my phone number without getting a verification code. What's going on?

Unfortunately to my knowledge there is no way without the security. If you had Two factor authentication, I would check your email or phone number representing the day that you may have lost access. I would also double check that a family member did not get into your account through a device that you may have left logged on.

As far as anything that I or Microsoft can do, our hands are tied without the proper security and recovery measures.

The email address is my ex wife’s email. The phone number is her phone number. I have the serial number for the system the Xbox was created on. I have PTSD and memory issues from that, so I can’t remember much. I called Xbox and they didn’t help because it’s been 9 years. So I lost thousands of dollars worth of games and DLC.
