    Why is it so hard to link an account for minecraft?


    I havent played minecraft in years, my friends were talking about playing so i decided to fire up the game and try to play (ps5). I tried signing in with my old account it didnt let me because i dont know my password since its been so long. My old phone number that i dont have anymore is linked to it so i cant send a code to that number. I tried using my other email to send a code and thought it would work after resetting it that way, NOPE. Ive tried too many times that way now and have to wait some time before i can try again and dont understand why THE **** it doesnt work. I make a new account thinking that would work, NOPE. The game wants my old account linked but wont let me reset my password to log in and wont accept this new account now. Now im trying to chat with someone online, wont let me just keeps trying to send me to the automated general ai chat that doesnt help in the slightest. I try to call it tells me that theyll send an xbox link so i can possibly talk to someone that way and hangs up on me. Why the **** is it impossible to talk to an actual human being that could maybe and hopefully resolve the problem in 5-10 mins? Why the **** does it matter what account im linked into on this stupid **** game just as long as i have a verified account linked to it. For **** and gigs i messaged my old number to see if someone had the number and if theyd be kind enough to send the code to me. They probably think im trying to hack them and told me to go **** myself. Ive deleted all the saved data i have off of the storage on my playstation 4 and 5 and deleted the app and re installed it to see if that would work, NOPE. Why the **** is it so hard to link a verified account to this game in order to play? Why the **** is it so hard to talk to an actual human being to resolve my issues? Is this going to reslove it? Most likely not.

    Hi Grant,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you have an existing Microsoft account that is linked to your PlayStation.

    However, according to Minecraft's policy, once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation Network account can be associated with a different account.

    If you choose to unlink accounts, then purchases will be returned to the account which made the purchase. Even after unlinking, Microsoft and PlayStation accounts can only be re-linked to the original account. It cannot be unlinked without loss of access to entitlements and Minecoins on other platforms.

    What you can do instead is to create a new PSN account where you could link your new Minecraft account.

    I can't sign into my ps4 Microsoft account on minecraft.

    So I'm linked into the Ps5 account? And I'm not trying link another Microsoft account to my ps4, I'm trying to get into my Microsoft account that have my Email address linked to it.

    I just don't understand why minecraft Microsoft account can't be unlinked? I'll have to pay for another minecraft Microsoft account if I can't get my original email address that I've veen using.

    I didnt have a microsoft account linked to my mojang / minecraft account before the purchase, so maybe thats why it doesnt show in order history? but the paypal transaction / order is there.

    We already got the Microsoft account that was linked to Minecraft account back... It's Minecraft says she doesn't own it. That's why we think the hacker transferred it.
