    Home Xbox bug, 0 of 5 attempts remaining


    Logged on today to see none of my games working except for the ones I own on my profile, so I check my home xbox on my brothers account and my home xbox was removed from my console along with the 5 attempts. I thought I was hacked but after calling Xbox support they said there was no suspicious activity and that I wasn’t the only one experiencing the bug as it’s an ongoing issue. Has anyone else had problems with this? I was told to relay my experience here it sounds like they will fix it.

    Message issue on xbox one home screen

    Sounds like a bug. Try a Power Cycle. Hold Down the power indicator button on your Xbox One for 10 seconds (the XB1 will shut off after 5 seconds, but continue to hold the power indicator for the remaining 5 Seconds). Wait 2 minutes and then power it
    back on via the Xbox Jewel Button on your controller or the Power Indicator on the console. You will be greeted by a beautiful green screen and then a black one (which stays for a moment) and then the Xbox Home Screen. Hopefully this should do it.

    Attempt a factory reset and then sign in again and try to set it as your home xbox. If that doesn't work you can try contacting xbox customer support (https://support.xbox.com/contact-us#0)

    Not my issue -- I know how training works. They'll take my money & it'll go from 0/5 to 5/5, but the skill's level remains the same. Only happens w/ the Companion trainers.

    I've attempted all of the solutions offered in the article and the achievement still remains locked withour progress being displayed for the achievement either.

    I would attempt the achievement again but this would mean starting the game from the very beginning just to possibly bug out for one item at the end of the game.

    How many times have you attempted to change your Home Xbox in the past year? If it hasn't been more than 5 times, you should be ok to do it. It may also just be a problem on Xbox's end where it's having an issue saving the changes right now. I would wait
    and try again later, or even tomorrow, as these issues/bugs usually fix themselves after a little time.
