So my dad was the organizer of my Xbox and he lost all of his information on his phone. Can someone please tell me how to leave the family or how to sign into his account on my phone. Everytime when I try to buy something it says to ask permission.

    Parental supervisión.

Hello, my name is Khaji I am the independent advisor and I will be happy to help you today.

In this case, you must sign in to an adult account (the one you want to designate as the organizer for your family group) and then add their account to the family group from the organizer account. All organizers in a family group have the authority to manage member accounts, such as setting content limits, approving time extension requests, and adding new members to the group. You can do this from the web or by using the Microsoft Family Safety app. Web:

    1. Open the Parental Controls panel. https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkID=2172864

    2. Select + Add family member.

    3. Enter your email address.

    4. Select your role in the family group: Member or Organizer.

    5. Select Invite. Mobile app:

    1. Download the Microsoft Family Safety app from Google Play or Apple App Store.

    2. Tap Start to log in.

    3. In Your Family view, select List.

    4. Scroll down to select Add Family Member.

    5. Enter your email address.

    6. Select your role in the family group: Member or Organizer.

    7. Select Next.

    8. Choose the addition method and select Send invitation. Please note that members can only be part of one family group.

A member must leave the current family group to join a new one. Guest will receive a link to register via email. They will be asked to sign in to their Microsoft account to accept and join the family group. If they are minors, they will also be asked to request adult consent.

    Best regards, Khaji

How to fix the account age problem?

    Hi Tobias Stidl,

    Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Change role of a member using the family app:

If a child account is appearing as an organizer rather than a member, or an adult account appears as a member when you want them to be an organizer, this may be due to a couple of reasons:

    • The account was added to the family group as the wrong role during initial setup.
    • Their birthday may be set incorrectly on their Microsoft account
You can now edit your family group’s roles by using the app in just a few steps:

    1. Open the Xbox Family Settings app, and then select Edit at the top of your list of members.
    2. Select Change to member or Change to organizer under the account that you want to configure.
    3. Read the prompt that appears, and then select Change role to confirm. Follow the onscreen instructions to remove the member from the family group and re-invite them under the correct role.
How to change the birthdate on a child account:

    1. Sign in with an organizer’s Microsoft account, and then follow the instructions to verify your identity.Sign in to your Microsoft account
    2. Select the Family tab, and then scroll down to the bottom of the page.
    3. Select Manage my child's profile info, and then select Edit this child’s personal info next to the child account.
    4. Update the birthdate, and then select Save.
    5. In the Xbox Family Settings app, refresh the page by relaunching the app or pulling down on the Family screen to confirm that the user’s role has updated.

My friend can't add me as friend in minecraft windows 10 edition

If your friend is redirected to the "manage app privacy settings on Xbox" page, it means that his account is linked to a family group. The the organized of the family group needs to Log in to Xbox settings. Then select the child account's (your friend's account) profile and changed the settings.

Hello , i have a problem i want to quit my family but I don’t have the option to quit please could you give me a solution

Hi Elouadghiri H, my name is Rishabh, I hope you are doing great out there. I’m happy to help you with your question.

Please note that the ability to leave a family group may depend on the permissions and roles set by the family organizer. If you do not see the option to leave the family group, it's possible that the family organizer has restricted this action. In that case, you might need to contact the family organizer to request to be removed from the family group.

If you're looking to leave a family group on Xbox, here's how you can do it:

    1. From Xbox Console:

Sign in to the Xbox console with the account that is part of the family group.
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Navigate to the "Profile & system" tab.
Scroll down to "Settings" and select "Account."
    Choose "Family settings."
Select the family member you want to remove from the family group.
    Choose "Remove from family."

    2. From Xbox Family Settings App:

Download and install the Xbox Family Settings app on your mobile device.
Sign in with the account that is part of the family group.
Open the app and navigate to the "Family" section.
Select the family member you want to remove.
    Choose "Remove from family."

    3. From Xbox Website:

Go to the Xbox Family Settings website: https://family.microsoft.com/.
Sign in with the account that is part of the family group.
Click on the family member's profile you want to remove.
    Select "Remove from family."

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks and regards
    Rishabh Sohal
