    Xbox Series X Friends List not updating status.


    Hello.

    this is happening on the main stable update on June 18.

    I have noticed my friends list is not updating or refreshing the status of my friends online or what game they are playing.

    I tested it turning on the console from shutdown and when I click on one of my friends it shows the correct status and it does not match what is on the friends list from the guide. their profile also shows it correct.

    anyone found this happening and know a fix?

    -I am playing on an Xbox series x

    -Current network status is all services are available

    -I am only experiencing this issue

    The friend list does not show my 123 friends on my xbox, xbox app or the xbox game bar

    Your friends list didn't get deleted. There is currently an issue with the service where you cannot see your friends list. Keep an eye on the link below for updates.

    I'm assuming you have the Xbox Series X and your friend has Series S, correct?

    Thank you for reaching out to the forum.

    • Yes, your current headset, controllers and so on, should also work on Series X.

    • Yes, you will still be able to communicate and play with your friends on Xbox One.

    • Yes and No. Some titles might need to be moved to the internal SSD to play, especially the titles that support Smart Delivery upgrades for the Series X.

    Hi Aman!

    Make sure to enable cross-play in your game.

    Go to FIFA 22’s main menu.
    Press RT on Xbox One, Series X|S.
    Go to the Friends tab.
    If you do not have your friend, add them:
    Press Y on Xbox One, Series X|S.
    Write your friend’s Xbox Live Gamertag.
    Highlight any name on the list
    Press X on Xbox One, Series X|S.
    Pick the Enable Cross-Play option.

    To set your expectation, the game's cross-play may be limited to Online Seasons and Online Friendlies modes only.
