    How to disable youtube cast to xbox series x


    Other ppls phones keep casting to youtube on my xbox and its driving me nuts, checked like 40 reddit posts through google and other forums and none of the settings suggestions even exist for me. Older posts i understand but some of em were from this year and still suggesting options that dont exist. Im beyond confused. There has to be a way to disable this.

    And no, delete youtube is not an option, i literally use it everyday myself. Far to many of the comments on posts i looked through had that as a suggestion.

    Ill test it out, i did a different temporary solution by just uninstalling youtube, but ill see if this works.

    Short answer yes, Go to settings and under Preferences > Xbox app connectivity, uncheck Allow Play To streaming. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes!
