Friends List on Xbox Series S never being properly up-to-date

My friends list on my Series S is never properly up-to-date unless I do a console restart. Whenever I turn it on and see what my friends are doing, it'll say (for example: Playing Minecraft Survival) and then when I click on their profile it shows them somewhere else. (Example: Last Seen 1h ago). Really frustrating and I don't know how or why this is happening but I really want my friends list to be up-to-date 24/7.
