I'm sorry you are experiencing issues with your console.

Would you mind giving this a try?

- Go to Settings > General > Power options > Customize power options
- Select a longer period of inactivity from the "Turn off after" drop-down menu.
- Restart your console.

* If that doesn't work, go to Go to Settings > General > Power options > Customize power options > TV & A/V options and try disabling "HDMI-CEC"

I have almost the same problem except the error message says

“if you’re using Xbox series X/S, note that HDMI audio can’t be turned off. In other consoles, either optical or HDMI audio must be on. (0x80bd0009)

Why can’t I turn off hdmi audio on Xbox series x it makes no sense?

There are multiple reports in regard to multiple games on an Xbox Series X|S consoles getting this message prompt. However, there are no official announcements yet from Microsoft but as I have checked the game, it is available for Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Please perform a power cycle on your console and then check again.

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.
