    Hard drive keeps disconnecting my controller


    For some reason I think my external hard drive keeps disconnecting my Xbox controller, whenever I try to resync my controller to the Xbox the Xbox won’t blink. Can anyone help?

    Do not uninstall from the external hard drive, just disconnect from your console. When finished resetting, do a fresh install right into your console's internal memory. Keep the external hard drive disconnected.

    It is possible the hard drive may be failing. I would try to format it once before jumping to that conclusion.

    I am having same issue with a brand new hard drive. Keeps given me error message about the external hard drive been disconnected when it has not.

    It just started so far it’s happened twice on Vikings wolves of midgard.

    This hard drive is less then a month old at its the white seagate hard drive for Xbox.
