Wireless headphones Xbox One S sound issues

Any pair of wireless headphones I connect to my Xbox one s, mainly my Razer Kaira, Connects, however no sound is heard, I’ve tried with multiple pairs of wireless headphones, and even cleaned my whole Xbox of dust, however the issue still remained. The issue is not the connectivity, as the notification alerting that a headset has been connected appears, however no sound is sent. Is this an issue with an Xbox transmitter or is it just because the Xbox is about 6 years old?

    :)

Xbox One S Audio Stuck on Headset Profile

For anyone still plagued with this issue, with wireless headphones, you'll need a controller with an audio jack or the adapter.

My Xbox One S, with the September 2018 patch, simply disconnect the wireless headphones and plug standard headphones or cell phone earbuds into the controller. Give it a minute or two, then unplug them. enter the sound settings ams change the headphone
audio "uncompressed stereo". Exit the sound settings and re-enter the sound setting and your HDMI setting will be available. You can then re-setup your wireless headphones with any of the options needed.

I hope this helps others with this issue.

    Xbox one X Connection issues

I have tried wired and 2.4 and 5 on wireless. So I decided to borrow a xbox one s and I set it all up and synced my wireless headphones and streamed all at the same time and it ran fine without problems. Sound was stable and the stream was good. I really
think there is a problem with the xbox one x network adapter

Can you use wireless headphones on xbox one s

Not directly. You will need a 3rd party dongle that is compatible with your Xbox One S in order to use wireless headphones and headsets.

Xbox one headset no ingame sound, only "xbox-sound"

Hello, Im using the xbox one stereo Headset.

Also im not hearing any sound while navigating through the console.

I only have one wireless controller, but i tried different headphones plugging them into the adapter on the controller and no sound either. But on my phone both headphones are working.

Wireless headphone support on next gen

Everything can be possible. With Xbox One S they added Bluetooth into the controller. I don't use wireless headphones for gaming but having the ability to can be nice.
