Xbox Series X is immediately turning off after trying turn it on?

If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a few questions:

• Besides your TV/monitor, do you have any external devices plugged into your console?

• Is your power cord plugged directly into one of the wall's outlets? Sometimes extension cords, power strips, surge protectors, and similar devices, can cause power-related issues.

• Have you already tried unplugging your console for a few minutes? 5 minutes should be long enough for its power supply to reset.

I have an xbox series x. When turning the xbox on with a controller the system will turn on then immediately turn off and start again.

Does this happen if you use the console on/off button?

Is the console OS and the controller firmware up to date?

Well...

It might be a console problem...

if you have done full powercycling the console and tried a different outlet...

If PSU light is solid green and orange then PSU is fine...

The best course of action is to send it in for repair...

Try turning off your xbox and turning it back on after you fail to update once more like immediately after
