    XBox Controller Calibration Tool


    Hi, First of all Ty for that Tool. But im Not smart, the instructions given are unclear.

    For example, the Center Dot placing, If its Not 100% in the middle at First do i mess Up?

    Or "Up left down right" do i only have only to touch the perfect outer angle or does IT needs to be on its way up already perfect angle.angle(0,90,180,270) ?

    I ASK becausey Stick is fine at First, i used hardwaretester to See my Drift in Numbers 0.001748 on x and 0.001345 on y. But Sometimes when i touch the Stick very very very slight it starts the Drift until its at 0.33 on the y Axis.

    Probably Just dust right? Im actualy little afraid Open the Controller If im honest.

    All depends on your TV set yet it's recommended to leave the color space setting set to TV (RGB Limited). RGB Limited is the broadcast standard for video content and is intended for use with televisions.

    Well friend, seeing that the previously given solutions did not work on your console, therefore I would recommend having the equipment checked to rule out hardware problems (accessories, connection inputs, among others).

    I was using the controller wired through to a USB port on the PC without batteries. Sadly holding the Controller on/off button does not turn off the controller or reset it.

    At this stage I have also done a full system reset to see if I had any conflicting drivers on my PC. This has not worked either.
    Tried using different USB ports including my front I/O ports and my PCIEE Adaptor's USB ports with no success.
    Will be trying with a different cable to see if that resolves it. If not, sadly it would mean the controllers in general aren't good for use on PC and will have to get a different brand or would need a better software-side related solution. As mentioned, both work perfectly on console with no Y axis drift on left stick at all. Just completely baffling me at this point.

    Edit: Sadly changing USB cables did not fix the issue either.

    I understand that you are having problems with the calibration of the X and Y axis of your left analog stick on Xbox One and Xbox Series Controller on a Windows 10 Pro PC.

    Restart the controller: Press and hold the Xbox button for 5-10 seconds, until the controller turns off. Wait a few seconds and press and hold the Xbox button again to turn the controller back on

    Check the batteries: Check that the controller batteries are not causing this problem. If the controller does not turn on at all, replace the batteries in the controller with new ones and make sure you place them correctly in the controller.
