    Need help fixing high latency on wired connection.


    I have an Xbox Series S on wired internet connection, with a download speed of 300 MB and upload of 75 MB. My latency in Xbox Network statistics and in Halo Infinite is of 100-140 ms. It's affecting my multiplayer experience. How can I fix it?

    how does one get service or talk to a human regarding xbox. Tried all available online options and get nowhere.

    Wired connection on xbox 1 high latency in 90's. new modem DLspeeds 500mb. When playin on cloud on a mac same wired connection latency is 15-20. Xbox one is specifically were the latency is occurring. need help.

    Seems like the latency is indeed high. Are you connected via wired or wireless?

    Does the router support wifi? You may want to try wireless connection over the powerline adapter. If in you statistics there packet is loss that is high especially for what is considered to be a wired connection. latency is high as well for a wired
    connection.

    Buffering has to do with your internet speed try a reset of your router or modem, for a wired connection your latency seems high.

    Error Code

    Packet loss and high latency (which occur more often in wireless connections) can cause errors during updates, but by using a wired connection via ethernet cable enables a more stable connection, which may help solve your problem.
