What does it mean if your Xbox keeps turning off and being slow but not running hot?

yes i know but i turn it off and it even being 3 days off, it seems that it was on because it is very hot, as if it were working

The Xbox Series X in instant on mode does still create some heat, its down to the SSD, which are well known for running very warm.

If your concerned perhaps turn the instant on mode off.

It does get quite hot after a time, but that's normal. The console has built in sensors that monitor the temperature, so if the system gets too hot it will turn itself off to prevent damage. If your fan wasn't functioning at all, I expect that your console
would be turning itself off all the time as heat would no longer be being drawn anyway from the internals.

When externals were first allowed on the one external drives would continue to be on and running despite the xbox being turned off. The setting just means that when your Xbox goes of so does the External drive.

If your External is on all the time not only is it spinning but shortening its life span.

Hi Your XBox could be overheated.. It does it to me when I played it in too hot space.

Turn off your Xbox. Wait 3 hours til cool. Turn the Xbox.

(Extra Ideal: Re-boot cable modem and router.. This reset you internet speed. Intern drops alot these days.)

Make sure you keep the XBox from a entertainment center that may block the fan. They design entertainment centers to keep in heat in which can make you XBox overheat. Have you XBox out the entertainment center for air.

If you live in a hot air state with hot weather. XBox will overheat. What I do is add a Big metal Fan over my XBox One and let the fan blow over it. I was able to play my games with out any shut downs.
