  1. Xbox series X no access to any selection

Hi, from today with my admin profile on Xbox series X I can’t access to many options/sections, neither store nor settings nor profile nor account. I can only launch apps and games.

When I click on an option or selection nothing happens.

Even the console restart from the quick menu does not work.

    Can you please help?

    Thanks

    :)

Xbox series X no access to any selection

Hi Oskarya and thanks for supporting.

Happily I tried plugging off energy cable from the console for 5 minutes and when I restarted it all worked properly.

We will never know what was the cause but now we have a possible new option :)

    Best

Xbox series X no access to any selection

Hi Pietro, my name is Oskayra and I would be happy to help.

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble accessing the options on your Xbox X Series.

Based on the information you have provided, it appears that the problem started today and cannot be fixed by restarting the console. This suggests that the problem may be caused by a software bug or a problem with your console's settings.

Here are some things you can try to fix the problem:

Update your console to the latest software version. You can do this from the "Settings" section of your console.
Try logging into your account with another profile. If you can access the options with another profile, then the problem is related to your administrator profile.
Reset your console to factory defaults. This will erase all data on your console, so it is important that you back up your data before doing this.

    Best Regards, Oskayra

    Xbox “skip sign in” option

Please could you check if you are using the latest software on your Xbox?

To check if the software on your Xbox Series X is up to date, follow these steps:

    1. **Turn on Your Xbox Series X**:
    - Press the Xbox button on your controller to turn on the console.

    2. **Navigate to Settings**:
    - Use the controller to navigate to the "My games & apps" tab on the Xbox dashboard.

    3. **Access System Settings**:
    - Scroll down and select "Settings" from the list of options.

    4. **Open System**:
    - In the Settings menu, select "System" to access system-related settings.

    5. **Check for Updates**:
    - Within the System settings, select "Updates" to check for software updates.

    6. **Update Console if Available**:
    - If there's a software update available for your Xbox Series X, you'll see an option to update your console.
    - Follow the on-screen prompts to initiate the update process.

    7. **View Update History** (Optional):
    - If you want to see the history of updates applied to your console, you can select "Update history" within the Updates section.

    8. **Wait for the Update to Finish**:
    - If an update is available and you choose to proceed, your console will download and install the update. This may take some time, and your console will restart during the process.

    9. **Restart Your Console** (If Needed):
    - After the update is installed, your Xbox Series X will restart to apply the changes.

It's important to keep your Xbox Series X up to date to ensure you have access to the latest features, improvements, and security patches. If you experience any issues with the update process or need further assistance, you can visit the Xbox Support website or contact Xbox Support directly for help.

    Hope this helps

    xbox 360

If they're 360 games only a selection of them will be playable, but with the Series X you should be able to play any xbox game on it. Hope this answered your question =)

    Choosing a hardrrive

Fair enough, a slow internet connection is as good excuse as any.

Be aware however that while that drive will work on Series X, you won't be able to play Series X games directly from it. Series X games will require faster access and read speeds. My understanding is that the Series X games can be 'backed up' on an external
drive and then need to copied/moved over to either the internal SSD or the External SSD's that will be available for the machine.

The Series X will read and play Xbox One games from an external drive though.
