    Hi,

    for weeks now i've been having the issue that the Xbox App is stuck on the logo and can't log into Xbox in the Game Bar. I have tried every solution i could find on the Internet, including resetting/reinstalling basically every xbox service, updating Windows, creating new Windows users etc. None of these solutions had any impact on my problem. By now i could narrow it down to the fact that the Xbox Gaming Services are the root of the problem. Once that service is uninstalled I can login without problem, but obviously i can't use Game Pass anymore. Once i reinstall Gaming Services, the problems are back.

    I have been enjoying Game Pass a lot, and looking forward to new releases each month. But i now i am simply unable to use a service I am paying for and have been for a while. Seeing how many people appear to have the same or very similar issues, MS's handling of this is shocking. If nothing changes soon, i am sadly going to be forced to cancel my subscription.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    To fix your Xbox App, please repair the Xbox App by going to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.

    Find the Xbox app, click on it, and select Advanced Options.

    Choose Repair.

    And then reinstall gaming services. To do this please open PowerShell as an administrator and run the following commands:

    get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-appxpackage -allusers

    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

    Restart your PC and reinstall the Gaming Services app.

    Make sure that your Windows operating system is up to date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

    To fix your gamebar, kindly reinstall Xbox Game Bar by opening PowerShell as an administrator and run:

    get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay* | remove-appxpackage

    Reinstall the Xbox Game Bar from the Microsoft Store.

    Update the Xbox Game Bar and Gaming Services apps via the Microsoft Store.

    Next is to reset Game Bar settings. Go to Settings > Gaming > Xbox Game Bar and reset its settings.

    Kindly enable necessary services. Open the Services app and ensure the following services are running and set to Automatic:

    Xbox Live Auth Manager

    Xbox Live Networking Service

    I have noticed something. I tried downloading Gaming Services through the PowerShell and when that happens, it breaks the Xbox app, it reverts back to being stuck on the pulsating logo. I have no idea how to approach this since Gaming Services is needed but when its installed it breaks the app. The Xbox App cant even download it on its own.

    Why are all "Uninstall XBOX" questions locked and unanswered?

    If you have the latest version of Windows 10 (1909), then you can right click the Xbox console companion and select uninstall.

    As for the other Xbox apps such as game bar & Xbox services, they can not be removed, but you can disable game bar, by going to settings - gaming, then find the option to disable game bar.
