    Red Dead Redemption 2 not installing past 19%


    The game installs fine up until 19.17GB and then it keeps stopping. I’ve tried a reset, clearing the cache, uninstalling and starting over, and it always stops at the same part. Internet is hard wired and working, and there’s plenty of space on the hard drive.

    I understand that you have already tried to perform several steps to solve the problem, so most people recommend pausing the installation, restarting the console and resuming the installation. Therefore, if you have already done all this, we are going to clear the cache once again by following these steps. .

    I understand that your internal HARD drive has enough free space to install the game; Sometimes Xbox may have space available, but some cache has not been deleted from the console and a cache clear is required.

    1. Go to Xbox and hold the Xbox power button on your console for 10 seconds until it turns off.
    2. Wait 10 seconds for it to turn off.
    3. Wait 1 minute with it off.
    4. Turn it back on.

    If the problem persists, you can also try to reset the console while maintaining games and applications, it may be that some file is still hindering the start of the game, keep in mind that this process will not delete any data from your console, you just have to remember the credentials to log into your account again.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the panel.
    2. Select system > system > console > system.
    4. Select Reset console.
    3. Restore and keep my games and applications.

    I checked this for my and my brothers account and that is the result. Looks a little bit strange or? On My Account the Ultimate Edition is listed twice. I think this is not correct and on my brothers account ultimate edition is missing. Pre-Order Bonus is
    correct, because i have it bought and my brother not.

    HELP NEEDED ASAP

    Are you sure that you purchased the full Red Dead Redemption 2 and not just the Red Dead Redemption 2: Story Mode. If you purchased the Story Mode, then you need to own Red Dead Online in order to play it. Story Mode is just DLC for Red Dead Online and cannot be played or installed without Red Dead Online.

    I grabbed a hold of FIFA 19 ( great price... I wouldn't have paid full price for it) and finally purchased Red Dead Redemption 2... just waiting for them to install now and I guess I'll reamerge into the world just after summer
