How do I sync my Minecraft Xbox worlds to my switch?

I’m afraid to say, but worlds can’t be synced between platforms unless you have the world uploaded to a Realm.

If you want your world to be synced no matter where you play the Bedrock edition, you may need to purchase a Realms subscription.

I did those steps , reloaded minecraft & my world is showing up but when I click it , it says “ Failed to sync world data , the world is not fully synced .....”

Sorry for the difficulty you've experienced as of yet.

This cross-play feature for Minecraft across all devices is relatively new anc can be complicated sometimes.

Now if I'm reading correctly, you're saying that you're trying to load up a World that you had started on the Switch. When you login to the same account you used on that console through the Xbox, it's missing your changes?

If that is the case, then I would suggest to try removing and redownloading your profile following the steps here on

What do i do if its the other way around i made the world on xbox but when i go on the switch and hit sync old worlds nothing comes up

Everything is set to allow. My worlds are still unable to sync. I signed into my Microsoft profile on minecraft and there is no option on the ps4 to sync my old worlds.
