will we get a refund on minecraft dungeons as it continues to crash can't play it, no works

The only way to request a refund is by logging in with the account you used to get Minecraft Dungeons here
xbox.com/refund. Then continue from there.

There is no Java version of Minecraft Dungeons. It does look like they did buy the Windows 10 Edition though, with the game not being a Play Anywhere title, they should still try to get a refund or exchange for the Xbox version in order to play on Xbox.

I had however already worked out how to find the order history, be signed-in etc. But thanks nonetheless.

I don't get the option of asking for a refund because the 14 day period has expired.

My 11yr daughter who is an avid mincrafter and minecraft dungeons player has been waiting for legends for the best part of a year.

She pre-ordered it not realising that her PC and all computers in our household are not capable of playing legends.

Only on release these last couple of days did it become clear that we couldn't play it (it loads but soon crashes ... our hardware not up to it)

But because we pre-ordered over 14 days ago, the refund option is not given.

They do suggest contact... but you go through an automated system that take you around in circles and basically ends up saying that you can't contact them about it. The only thing one can do at all it seems is provide generalised 'feeback.' Having worked a bit in marketing many years ago I realise that such feedback will at best only have a generic and not particular response and to be honest is likely to not be responded to at all.

So on the one hand a more than a bit disappointed that minecraft's strong pre-marketing to its young fanbase doesn't really communicate stuff about compatibility and that machines that can play minecraft and mc dungeons might not be able to play legends.

And on the other hand what rubs salt into the wound is not being refunded her hard earned pocket-money spent on a game she can't play. (Of course 'the bank-of-mum-and-dad' will cover her losses, but it doesn't leave us endeared towards microsoft / minecraft etc...).

Anyway if you have any bright ideas Ben I'm all ears!

I bought minecraft dungeons from the official website minecraftdungeons.com and I bought minecraft hero pass for dungeons on microsoft store on my web browser but it wont install and it wont link to my xbox live microsoft account which is linked to my minecraft
