Find my Xbox console ID

To find your Xbox console ID, you must follow the following steps. You need to have access to the console.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console information.
The console ID appears second in the list.

As additional information in case you may be interested, you can search for your Xbox series in the following two ways:

On the sticker on the back of the console (the bottom of the console on the Xbox One).

In the settings. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console information. The serial number appears first in the list.

To find your device ID go to Settings > System > Console info. Your Console ID is second in the list shown and Xbox Live device ID is fourth.

What exactly do you mean by the 'public ID'? Are you referring to the ID number for your console?

Here's a quick support link on how to find the various console IDs that may be associated with the console. Including but not limited to the Xbox's ID and the Kinects ID should you have one and need it.

I am afraid you can only find the console ID in Settings:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
   
2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
   
3. Your Console ID is second in the list displayed.

Short answer, as stated by fellow XBF Erick D, yes. the console warranty is the same and it is available on our Find
the Xbox One console ID, device ID Xbox One serial number, and Kinect serial number page. Also, support (if the console was registered to the account) will be able to see the SN.
