Problem with making xbox live account for xbox 360

First, ensure you have a Microsoft account that does not have an Xbox profile. You can create an account here: https://signup.live.com

Then, follow these steps on your console:

1. Sign in to your Xbox profile.
2. Press the Guide button.
3. Go to Settings, and then select Profile > Join Xbox Live.
4. Enter your first name, your Microsoft account email address, and your Microsoft account password.
5. Verify the info that’s on the screen.
6. Verify the current privacy settings.
7. Review the Microsoft Services Agreement, and then select I accept.

Xbox Live Gold no longer exists, it's now GamePass Core, but 360 will recognize that as gold, but you might have to do it on the web

There seems to be no solution to this problem if a child account is the one with Xbox Live Gold and you don't have an Xbox 360.

The parent account does not have the ability to get the Xbox Live Gold game for free.

The child account gets the message "Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com".

You see the following error code when you try to make a purchase on Xbox Live on Xbox 360:

This may mean that you have entered one of the following incorrectly:

So there really isnt a problem with my account its just the 360.I clicked to download Sniper Elite V2 and a message popped up saying My Account is Blocked from making purchases and to contact Xbox live support.
