    Xbox now deemed useless any way I can save it??? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!


    So I just bought a barely used Xbox off of some people on OfferUp. They hooked everything up while I was in their house showed me it all worked and everything was good. Got the Xbox home and attempted to run it off Wi-Fi and put my account on and start playing. It would tell me that it connected to Wi-Fi and then I would try to click sign in you know bring my account to it and it kept telling me you need to be connected to the internet to do that. So three different times tried resetting my router all that good stuff resetting the Xbox everything. After that didn't work decided okay I'll run a hardwire ethernet cord. Reset Xbox plug it all back in plug in Internet cord test system status tells me I'm connected that's when I try to sign in still tells me you need to be connected to the internet to do that. So after about three or four attempts at that decide all right maybe I just need a factory reset it get rid of all this dude stuff and start over from scratch so go to the menu restore the factory defaults and wait for it to restart. Xbox restarts pops up on the setup screen start setting it up gets to the point where it says it needs a system update begin update and about 30 seconds goes by and it just keeps saying getting ready to get ready and then all the sudden the error code pops up tells me something is wrong with the download I need download to use console but there's an error downloading please go to yada website for more information. Now there's three options I can click there's try again which doesn't work it literally just flashes real quick and it goes back that screen there's test internet connection which I do tells me it's connected so then when I go back to the try again screen same thing just flashes real quick and go right back to the error message. On the other option is turn off console. Now I've tried everything I can think of that I can read online to see if I can fix this and it's not doing anything it's still telling me I'm connected to the internet but then still telling me it needs internet to do the update and I can't use the console without the update. So please if there's anybody out there who knows what to do about this or has any ideas please throw my way I'm completely stumped and it really sucks.n appreciate any sort of input or knowledge I can get out of this and also for you taking the time to read it.

    I do understand the urgency of you wanting to find other ways for this issue of yours in regards with your Xbox console not proceeding with the process to let you sign in. We are very glad to find some of the best possible options and troubleshooting's that we can provide for you.

    We just want to set your proper expectations and understood that you have been doing some troubleshooting's already on your Xbox console and tried everything as well. But if any case issue still persist, then you may need to reach out or take your device on OfferUp since it is where you had got your Xbox Console. Setup was good but on the experience on arriving the device on your home things go south.

    Since the issue here and base on your description lies on updates and still it does not proceed due to it will connect to the internet and on the long run it still says YOU NEED TO BE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET. And as well as the updates will not proceed due to internet connection is not cooperating, you can try to perform Offline System Update on your Xbox Console.
