    My Xbox network connection is 184 MS - it was literally 16 MS before I went on holiday for a week, when I got back it was 10X higher. Can someone look into my account? I try to set Location to Australia and I get an error, but it doesn't state what location my account is set to anywhere.

    Speedtest.net from my PC wirelessly connected to the same access point shows 9 MS to Sydney servers, has my location settings changed on my xbox account?

    We do appreciate the efforts on responding on this thread. Thank you as well on sharing that your issue had been resolved and it is working fine now. For any additional information's in the future in regards with Ping related issues. You can as well try to wait for 2-3 days for the internet connection of yours will refresh and try to play your game again so that your Ping or MS will drop and not be on the verge of rising.

    It looks like this may have been a routing issue with the ISP, the issue self-resolved.

It's important to note that the network connection speed can vary depending on various factors such as the distance from the server, network congestion, and the quality of the internet connection. However, if you are experiencing a significant increase in latency, there may be some steps we can take to improve the connection.



    To start, let's check your Xbox account location settings. Here are the steps to do so:



    1. Sign into your Microsoft account on the Xbox website.

    2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and

    • Select "Settings".
    3. Under "Account",

    • Select "Payment & billing".
    4. On the next page,

    • Select "Address book".
    5. Here, you can view and edit your account's location settings.



    Regarding the increase in latency, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:



    1. Restart your Xbox console and modem/router.

    2. Connect your Xbox console directly to the modem/router using an Ethernet cable, if possible.

    3. Check for any firmware updates for your modem/router and install them if available.

    4. Disable any VPN or proxy settings on your network.

    5. Power Cycle your modem/router

    • Remove all attached wirings on your Xbox Console and on the Power Source where you insert your modem/router.
    • Wait for 30 seconds and reconnect again for your internet connection and IP address will refresh.
    • Plug all the connections back and turn on your modem/router and set it back the way it was.

    Oops! Looks like the Microsoft Account you are trying to use is already connected to another account on “PlayStation Network”

    Hi!



    I have the same issue. The difference is that I have never entered my MS account on my PS5 and accordingly never connected my MS account to my PSN account.



    I contacted PSN support and they answered me that I need to contact MS support because PSN support doesn't have any information about which MS accounts are connected to which PSN accounts when it comes to Minecraft connection to MS account for network gaming.

    So who on the MS side can tell me to which PSN account my MS account was already connected? I am pretty sure this is a glitch because I have never connected my account before yesterday when I got this message.
