    How to remove software from XBOX game bar?


    1. I installed Pro-face GP-PRO EX 4.09.500, you can download it from the official website ( www.proface.com ) or or direct download link ( https://backend.proface.com/media/52166 )
    2. I created a new project and clicked ‘Simulation’ on the menu bar. GP-Pro EX Simulation (simulator.exe) will open. (Sorry, I keep getting errors when uploading pictures.)
    3. Press the Windows key + G at the same time, open the XBOX game bar, and find that GP-Pro EX Simulation is recognized as a game and appears in the control bar.
    4. Click the settings button and find that there is no option named 'Remember this is a game'. The identified game is called 'GP-Pro EX Simulation'.
    5. I wish to remove GP-Pro EX Simulation from the XBOX game bar. But I don't know what to do.
    Please help me, thank you.

    If any case if you can see and check your Xbox Game Bar to edit game list, then there is nothing wrong on trying. Just let us know if you can edit and remove the GP-Pro Ex Simulation on the Game Bar since it is the one that you want to achieve to removing it as well. Just let us know right after.

    Thank you for reaching back here on our thread and we do appreciate the efforts on replying as well. For now, since we have seen that the software that you want to remove on the Xbox Game Bar will be gone by uninstalling that software. But as we have seen that this software is important for your work and you do need this as well and once installed it will show again on the Xbox Game Bar, then both ways it seems like it will work but it will still be needed.

    Thank you for your reply.

    I am unable to find the GP-Pro EX Simulation software in the list of widgets,

    After uninstalling the GP-Pro EX Simulation software, it did disappear from the XBox Game Bar.

    But I need to use the GP-Pro EX Simulation software for work, and don't want to see it in XBox Game Bar.

    What can I do to achieve this goal?

    I really hope these methods will solve my problem, but they don't.

    Does the xbox game bar contain an editable game list?

    If so, I think I could edit the list and remove GP-Pro EX Simulation from the list.
