Terraria: can’t join friends or create multiplayer game

It appears that you having issue playing multiplayer game when the game was downloaded in your device. Let us check and see on what we can do to help address your concern in a timely manner so that you can play on multiplayer mode.

We would like to ask few questions to help us isolate the issue further.

1. What device are you using to play multiplayer game after it has been downloaded?
2. Are you able to play other multiplayer game in your device?

3. Are you connected on the same network on the device that you used to play cloud gaming?

4. Are you getting an error message or error code when using multiplayer mode?

It is possible that your Network Translation Address or NAT type where your device is connected is restricted to play multiplayer game. To play multiplayer, your NAT type setting must set to open or moderate. To check the NAT type on different devices, follow the steps below:

For Windows 10:

• PC Settings > Gaming > Xbox Network and check the NAT Type.
  
• Look for NAT Type and error message/code.
  
• Please reply with any error message/code you notice.
  

For Windows 11: Install Xbox Console Companion app from Microsoft Store (click here)

• Launch Xbox Console Companion app.
  
• Go to Settings and select Network tab.
  
• Look for NAT Type and error message/code.
  
• Please reply with any error message/code you notice.
  

For Console:

• Kindly go to Xbox Console's Settings.
  
• Select Network and Network Settings.
  
• Look for NAT Type and error message/code.
  
• Please reply with any error message/code you notice.

1. I am using Xbox series x

2. I am able to play every other multiplayer game I have decent enough internet and I have ultimate/gold

3.I am on everything the same as when I use cloud gaming

4. All it tells me is failed to join/ failed to make server

I’ve already checked the Nat type, it’s on open and I tried clearing it and so on

You need to have friends to join or invite somebody to play, there is no matchmaking service for Terraria.

Basically, only friends are join-able/invite-able.

I got banned on Xbox until June 15

Because of my messages where inappropriate I made a mistake

Can somebody please help get me unbanned I can’t join parties or create parties I can’t play online multiplayer games or message my friends online

It was a mistake I really sorry for what I did can u please get this suspension off so I can play with my friends again
