Just a heads up, if you forget what email you are using on your Microsoft account, you can try recovering that here:

Email is really important to log in to your Microsoft account and without this, you may not be able to get back to it again as that is the only log in information it uses.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you have an existing Microsoft account that is linked to your PlayStation.

However, according to Minecraft's policy, once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation Network account can be associated with a different account.

If you choose to unlink accounts, then purchases will be returned to the account which made the purchase. Even after unlinking, Microsoft and PlayStation accounts can only be re-linked to the original account. It cannot be unlinked without loss of access to entitlements and Minecoins on other platforms.

What you can do instead is to create a new PSN account where you could link your new Minecraft account.

Hi Josef, I’m having the same issue however this is the first time I’ve got minecraft on any PlayStation, I’ve tried logging in to Minecraft on PS5 and it gives me the same message, there is only my account on my PS5 yet it says my Microsoft account is already linked to another PSN account, I do not have minecraft on PS4. I attempted to use a different Microsoft account but all I got was a signing in screen for 10 minutes so gave up.

(Edit: just installed minecraft on my ps4 with the same PSN account and also says the Microsoft account is linked to a different PSN account but Nintendo switch works fine so seems to be an issue with PlayStation minecraft)

Before following these steps, please ensure you have done the following:

Create a Microsoft account.

Create a PlayStation Network account.

Confirm the account has an active PlayStation Plus subscription to play online.

Install Forza Horizon 5 on the PlayStation 5 console.

Once confirmed that you meet all the above requirements, here's the steps on how to link accounts in Forza Horizon 5.

Launch the game and select “Start Game” at the Title Screen.

When the Microsoft Account Login menu appears, select “Link Accounts.”

View the access code displayed.
