Can I actually import custom skins on Minecraft for Xbox?

I've seen a couple posts like this and replies saying you can but like the menus they're directing you too aren't on console Minecraft

So is it an actual thing or not? If it is why can't I use it?

I went on minecraft's official page, and you CANNOT add ANY custom skins on Xbox, you can ONLY add custom skins on Bedrock for pc, mobile, and Chromebook

Unfortunately it is not possible to upload a custom skin on Xbox.

Within the Minecraft support page it is mentioned that this is only available for the Windows and mobile versions.

I would like to let you know that it is not possible to import custom skins in Minecraft Xbox Edition. You can only purchase and add the ones available in the Minecraft marketplace.
