Well hopefully Namco gets the hint and combines the servers. Would make it much easier to play with people TBH. I can understand the level restriction (although it's not confirmed yet if it's 10 soul levels or 10% of SL).

Nice soul farming hint! Now I just have to get to anor londo in NG+but that would only grant me maybe 10 levels right now.

If you become a level 3 Vampire people will attack you on sight. From the time you are infected with the disease people will hint at you being a vampire such as "you look awfully pale".

the level cap is definately 50 as they have already announced an official achievement list and the cap says capped at 50 "for now..." hinting that yes as certain as it is that there is a cap now dlc will raise that cap later.
